Information Collected

KEL visitors are not required to provide any personal information to enjoy the KirkElfLand.com website. However, there may be areas where the site might request minimal information in order to enhance the online experience or help further site development. This information is never shared with an outside party and is not required.

• In almost all activities, the information we collect is non-personal (such as first name only, age, and state). If you enter a contest or send us a question or comment, we will also ask for an e-mail address.
• KirkElfLand.com does not contain areas where KEL visitors are allowed to display personal information or messages. It does not support blog or chat room venues. If you submit stories, artwork, comments or anything else to KEL that is posted on our site, you will be identified on our site only by first name, age, city and state.
• When we do ask for personal information (like an e-mail address) as part of an activity, we will only use it for that activity and keep it only until that particular activity is complete. For example:

1. The web site gives all visitors a unique cookie to track sessions; this is a common practice across virtually all web sites.

3. If an elf code is entered, this is stored in a cookie (again, this way it does not have to be re-entered again upon the next visit).
